On October 5, 2004, firefighters were alerted to a fire in an apartment in the Bellvitge neighborhood of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. Upon discovering the bodies of two women, they soon alerted the Mossos d'Esquadra, who found the victims bound, gagged and with multiple stab wounds. They soon find out that they are two trainee officers of the National Police Corps who have been murdered.
