The Masseuses (1962) follows two business executives from Milan who travel to Rome with the aim of securing a contract to construct a YMCA hostel. Their journey takes an unexpected turn when they become entangled with a group of masseuses. One of the masseuses is presented to the president of a Catholic association as the spouse of one of the managers. During a raid by the vice squad, the president is caught in a compromising situation with one of the girls and suffers a fatal stroke. The ensuing chaos leaves the others scrambling to conceal his death, leading to a web of deception and intrigue.
