In Vitro (2024) follows Layla and her husband Jack, who reside on an isolated cattle farm far from any civilization. The escalating climate crisis has severely affected the agricultural sector, prompting Jack to develop an innovative method for cattle breeding. Their once affectionate relationship has deteriorated due to the solitude of farm life. While Jack is engrossed in caring for the livestock and exploring new biotechnologies, Layla yearns to be reunited with her son. Their lives take a dramatic turn when a power outage strikes the farm, and Jack is injured in an attack. Layla's concerns deepen as Jack dismisses the incident as a mere accident involving the cattle. As Layla begins to investigate, Jack's behavior becomes increasingly domineering. Her search leads her to uncover a chilling secret concealed on the farm.
