Modigliani (2006) unfolds in the vibrant city of Paris during 1919, offering a glimpse into the tumultuous life of the late Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani, particularly his final days and his intense rivalry with Pablo Picasso. The narrative revolves around Modigliani's passionate love affair with Jeanne, a young and beautiful Catholic woman.
