Cross Game (TV Series) (2009) follows the life of Koh Kitamura, a fifth-grader who resides next to the Tsukishima family, proprietors of a batting cage and the Clover café. Koh is in a relationship with Wakaba, the second daughter of the Tsukishima family. However, their relationship is complicated by the presence of Aoba, the third Tsukishima daughter, who is a talented baseball player and harbors a strong dislike for Koh. Wakaba has a dream for Koh to pitch at the prestigious Koshien Stadium, the venue for the national high school baseball championship finals. Tragedy intervenes, and it falls to Koh, with the support of Aoba and his teammates, to fulfill Wakaba's dream. The series spans one season with 50 episodes, airing from 2009 to 2010.
