Fine Manners (1926)

Fine Manners (1926) is a 1926 American black-and-white silent comedy film that was initially helmed by Lewis Milestone and ultimately finished by Richard Rosson for Famous Players-Lasky/Paramount Pictures. Following a disagreement with leading actress Gloria Swanson, Milestone abandoned the project, leaving Rosson to take over. Rosson, who had honed his directorial skills as an assistant to Allan Dwan, successfully completed the film. The movie marked Rosson's first significant directorial effort since co-directing "Her Father's Keeper" in 1917 with his brother Arthur Rosson. The film's success secured Rosson a long-term contract with Famous Players-Lasky.
