Invaders From Mars (1986) follows the story of a young boy who observes an unidentified flying object descending near his residence. The following day, his father exhibits peculiar behavior and has an unusual mark on the back of his neck. Gradually, the police, his mother, and even a teacher fall under the control of extraterrestrial beings. The boy joins forces with a non-possessed teacher to combat the alien threat. Together, they alert the military, who destroy the alien vessel. The boy awakens, realizing it was all a dream. However, the alien ship lands again, this time for real. This film is a remake of the classic "Invaders from Mars" (1953), directed by William Cameron Menzies.
