American Ninja (1985) follows the journey of a U.S. soldier stationed in the Philippines, who has been grappling with memory loss for the past half-decade. Isolated from his fellow troops, his life takes a dramatic turn when he crosses paths with the commander's daughter. After rescuing her from a band of ninjas working for a notorious arms trafficker, he embarks on a mission to apprehend the criminal mastermind. With the unexpected assistance of his former mentor, who is surprisingly in the employ of the arms dealer, the soldier navigates a complex web of danger and deception.
