Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) follows the adventures of Scott Pilgrim, a bassist in a struggling rock band, who finds himself in a complicated romantic situation. He is currently dating Knives Chau, a high school student much younger than him, while still nursing a broken heart from his previous girlfriend, who has since found success with her own band. When Scott meets and falls for the enigmatic Ramona Flowers, he struggles to end his relationship with Knives and win Ramona's affection. However, Ramona's past adds a twist: Scott must confront and defeat her seven evil exes, each posing a unique challenge, to prove his worth and secure their future together.
