Alias a Gentleman (1948) follows the journey of a convict nearing the end of his decade-long prison term. During his incarceration, he has dedicated himself to education and personal growth, aiming to leave his criminal past behind and embrace a life of respectability. However, his former associate, harboring suspicions of hidden wealth, orchestrates a deception by introducing an actress to impersonate his long-lost daughter. The convict forms a genuine bond with her, but their relationship is shattered when she reveals the truth.
