Let's Go with Pancho Villa (1936) follows the journey of six courageous peasants, collectively known as "Los Leones de San Pablo," who choose to align themselves with Pancho Villa's forces during the tumultuous Mexican Revolution. Their goal is to alleviate the hardships faced by their community by participating in the fight. Through numerous battles and acts of bravery, the group is gradually diminished, leaving only the leader Tiburcio Maya (Frausto) and the young Becerrillo (Vallarino). When Becerrillo contracts smallpox, Villa commands Tiburcio to end his life and dispose of the body by burning it. After reluctantly carrying out the order, Tiburcio is instructed to depart from the army and returns to his home.
