Confessions of a Congressman (1978) follows the story of a politician, Roberto Orbea, portrayed by José Sacristán, who finds himself in a compromising situation orchestrated by his political adversaries. These opponents, privy to Orbea's hidden desires, manipulate him into a compromising encounter with a street hustler named Juanito, played by José Luis Alonso. However, the plot takes an unexpected turn when Juanito genuinely develops romantic feelings for Orbea. This unexpected development leaves the political opponents displeased and suspicious, as they begin to question whether they are being outmaneuvered.
