Along Came a Spider (2001) follows the gripping tale of Dr. Alex Cross, a seasoned homicide detective in Washington DC. He is thrust into a harrowing investigation when two children from an elite school are abducted by a deranged and schizophrenic psychopath. The film is a cinematic adaptation of James Patterson's first celebrated novel in the Alex Cross series, which also inspired the 1997 film "Kiss The Girls.
