His path takes him to Tokyo in the 11th year of the Meiji era, where he crosses paths with a diverse group of individuals, including a skilled female Kendo practitioner, a reformed thief, a tough brawler, and a dedicated doctor, each harboring their own mysteries. United, they confront the dangers that emerge from Kenshin's shadowy past, which he struggles to outrun.
