Desperate to capitalize on the situation and secure his future with his girlfriend, Rose, Albert orchestrates a publicity stunt. He arranges for Conrad to make a final public appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show," where he will bestow his last kiss as a civilian to a lucky fan. The chosen recipient, Kim, is selected from Conrad's fan club, and the entourage travels to Sweet Apple, Ohio, to meet her. This plan, however, causes tension with Kim's new boyfriend, Hugo.
