Under the Pampas Moon (1935) follows the story of Cesare Campo, a daring and passionate Argentine gaucho. Yvonne LaMarr, a renowned Parisian singer, is en route to perform at a cabaret in Buenos Aires when her plane is compelled to land in the vast Pampas. Campo and his companions escort the passengers to a nearby hotel. A swift romance blossoms between Yvonne and Campo, but her professional commitments in Buenos Aires necessitate her departure. Campo, driven by love, pursues her to the city, only to uncover that his prized horse, a favorite to win the prestigious Big Race, has been stolen.
