Holiday (1938) follows the story of Johnny Case, a carefree spirit who becomes engaged to a wealthy heiress. When her family, excluding the rebellious Linda and the alcoholic Ned, pressures Johnny to commit to a life of corporate success, he resists, preferring to enjoy his youth. With guidance from his friends Nick and Susan Potter, Johnny must decide between the allure of wealth and the freedom of a more leisurely lifestyle, ultimately choosing the path that aligns with his true desires and the right partner.
