Employee of the Month (2006) follows the story of two highly competitive store clerks at a large discount supermarket who learn that a stunning new cashier has a habit of only dating those who have achieved the prestigious Employee of the Month award. This revelation sparks an intense and humorous rivalry between the two men as they vie for the title and the girl. The film stars Dane Cook, Jessica Simpson, and Dax Shepard. Zack Bradley (Cook) and Vince Downey (Shepard) have been working at the expansive Super Club for a decade, but their career paths have diverged significantly. Vince, the ambitious one, has risen to the role of head cashier and has won 17 consecutive Employee of the Month awards, while Zack is more laid-back and content with his position as a box boy. Their long-standing rivalry intensifies when the attractive Amy (Simpson) transfers to their store, and it becomes known that she is only interested in those who have won the coveted award. Zack decides to step up his game and shed his slacker image, while Vince strives to maintain his top position and stay composed amidst the new competition.
