Dead Men Walking (2005)

2005 · Movie · 82 min. · United States

Dead Men Walking (2005) follows the harrowing events that unfold after Dee Travis fatally shoots four individuals in his home using a shotgun. Travis asserts that his actions were a result of unintentionally consuming an experimental biotoxin developed by Blackthorn, the company where he was employed. Travis is subsequently transferred to Harwood Maximum Security Prison, visibly unwell, and Security Officer Sweeny directs him to the infirmary. Concurrently, CDC Agent Samantha Beckett arrives at the prison to question Travis and is greeted by Warden Mahler. During their discussion, they receive news that Travis has been moved to solitary confinement, and his contaminated blood has sparked an outbreak among both prisoners and guards. Samantha promptly contacts the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the official on duty informs the warden that the prison is now under quarantine.
