Zoe finds solace in the support of the town's mayor, Lavon Hayes, her charming neighbor Wade Kinsella, and the handsome lawyer George Tucker, who is also Lemon's fiancé. Despite initial setbacks and the urge to leave, a visit from her high-maintenance mother prompts Zoe to stay in Bluebell, where she uncovers the joys of small-town life and a deeper understanding of herself.
