Doctor Who: The Brain of Morbius (TV) (1976) sees the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith arriving on a desolate, storm-swept planet littered with the remnants of crashed spaceships. This eerie world is inhabited by the Sisterhood of the Flame, who are desperately trying to keep their sacred fire from extinguishing. Mistaken for a thief, the Doctor is apprehended by the Sisterhood. Meanwhile, the deranged Doctor Solon is on the planet, attempting to resurrect the malevolent Time Lord, Morbius, by constructing a new body for his preserved brain. Solon's plan is thwarted by the need for a suitable Time Lord head to complete his creation.
