La historia de Juana (2024) follows the journey of Juana Guadalupe Bravo, a spirited and adventurous 20-year-old who aspires to earn an engineering degree, making her the first woman in her family to attend college. Her primary focus is on bettering her life and achieving her academic goals. However, during a routine medical examination, Juana unexpectedly becomes pregnant through artificial insemination. This unexpected turn of events forces her to navigate the complexities of motherhood without having experienced romantic love or the traditional milestones of womanhood. The father of the baby is Gabriel Rubio, a prominent figure who has recently recovered from cancer. This life-altering event prompts Gabriel to reassess his priorities and realize that he yearns for a legacy that will endure beyond his own life—a child.
