Mezhdu nami glubokoe more (2023) follows the story of Andrey Batalov, a skilled child psychotherapist from Moscow, and his spouse Vera, who travel to Turkey to commemorate their wedding anniversary. During their stay, they encounter a local fisherman who also runs a modest hotel, along with his Russian wife, Svetlana. The couple's 10-year-old son, Emil, has mysteriously stopped speaking a few years prior, and Svetlana is convinced that Dr. Batalov is the key to healing her son.
