Making Up! (1993) is a unique comedy that delves into the romantic pursuits of women in the 1990s. Franzy, a comic strip artist, has sworn off men but finds herself in need of fresh romantic storylines for her newspaper column. She turns her attention to her friend Maischa, who is navigating her own romantic challenges, including finding someone to install a new shelf. When Maischa's handyman, Klaus, proves to be too demanding, she shifts her focus to the handsome footballer, Rene.
