My Crazy Life (1993) follows the story of two inseparable childhood friends, Mousie and Sad Girl, who reside in a impoverished Hispanic community in modern-day Los Angeles. Their bond is severely tested when Sad Girl finds herself pregnant with the child of Mousie's boyfriend, Ernesto, a local drug dealer. This unexpected turn of events sows the seeds of animosity between the two friends, leading to a heated conflict. As their personal dispute intensifies, the pervasive violence of their surroundings begins to infiltrate and complicate their lives further.
