Should Married Men Go Home? (S) (1928) follows the comedic misadventures of Ollie and his wife during a peaceful Sunday at home, which is disrupted by the arrival of Stan, who is eager to play golf. After Stan accidentally damages the Hardys' Victrola and nearly causes a fire, Mrs. Hardy promptly evicts the boys. At the golf course, they team up with two attractive young women to form a foursome. The girls insist on being treated to sodas, but the boys are short on cash. Stan leaves his watch as collateral to cover the thirty-cent bill. On the course, they encounter a rude golfer, Edgar Kennedy, leading to a chaotic mud-throwing battle with several other golfers.
