Fjols til fjells (1957) follows the chaotic events that unfold when two distinct individuals who bear a striking resemblance to each other check into the Hurlumhei hotel. The hotel manager, Poppe, mistakenly believes they are the same person, leading him to question his sanity. Simultaneously, the hotel director's daughter assumes a disguise as a piccolo player to demonstrate to her father that she is more than just a pampered child.
