Romance (1997) centers around two affluent businessmen, Harbans Rai and Ranjit Rai, who hold a deep disdain for poverty and those less fortunate. In a twist of fate, Harbans Rai's daughter, Madhu, develops feelings for a humble mechanic named Raja, while Ranjit Rai's son, Ajay, becomes enamored with a poor girl named Kajal. Upon discovering these romantic entanglements, Harbans and Ranjit employ various tactics to drive a wedge between the couples.
