Calandria (1933) follows the journey of Carmen, a young woman who, after the loss of her mother, moves in with Dona Pancha. There, she encounters Malena, who extends an invitation to a lively gathering. At this event, Carmen crosses paths with Alberto, a wealthy young man who is immediately drawn to her and seeks a romantic involvement. However, Carmen is already in a relationship with Gabriel, who seeks clarity about her actions. Torn between her feelings and the expectations placed upon her, Carmen decides to leave town, ultimately realizing the depth of her love for Gabriel.
