Pure Hearts (2017) follows the story of Agnese, a 17-year-old girl living with her mother, who is on the verge of taking a vow of chastity until marriage, and Stefano, a 25-year-old man with a tumultuous past and a volatile temper. Their chance encounter sparks an unexpected bond of innocence. However, their first intimate experience leaves Agnese feeling disillusioned and betrayed by her own ideals. This emotional turmoil drives her to make a drastic choice, hoping to cleanse herself of what she perceives as a grave transgression.
