The Glass Sky (1987) follows Julien, an office worker residing in a pre-war Paris apartment with his ailing mother and girlfriend. He feels exploited by the two women and has recurring dreams filled with sexual and violent themes. Concurrently, a serial killer is on the loose in Paris, targeting women. One fateful day in the metro, Julien encounters a woman who resembles a victim from his dreams. This mysterious beauty guides him to an old shopping arcade inhabited by peculiar individuals, where he crosses paths with a prostitute named Bichette. The self-assured and independent young woman begins a romantic involvement with Julien. However, their relationship takes a dark turn when Julien witnesses a genuine murder in the glass-roofed arcade.
