Insurance on a Virgin (1967) follows a unique and humorous storyline where a destitute family's teenage daughter, played by Romina Power, is proposed to by an older aristocrat, Vittorio Caprioli. Pressured by a greedy relative, Leopoldo Trieste, the father insures his daughter's virginity for a year, with a substantial payout if she remains pure. The twist? Everyone knows Power is in love with a local boy, who is sent away to an oil rig, while she is placed in a convent. Despite the family's best efforts, including spies and strict supervision, the young lovers' path to each other is fraught with comedic mishaps and unexpected turns.
