La gorilla (1982) follows the story of Ruby, a skilled martial artist trained by her father, who now works as a bodyguard, protecting various individuals and their possessions. Adelmo, an artist with a penchant for clumsiness, is instantly smitten with Ruby but is unaware of her true profession. The situation becomes more intricate when Adelmo's French neighbor and occasional model develops feelings for him, and Ruby's father attempts to set her up with different bodybuilders while also pursuing the French woman.
