Chain of Evidence (1957) follows the journey of a recently released convict who, due to an unexpected turn of events, loses his memory and finds himself adrift. His aimless wandering leads him into a dangerous web when he is manipulated by a deceitful woman and her paramour. The pair, having murdered the woman's wealthy spouse, see the amnesiac as the perfect scapegoat for their crime.
