The Omen (1976) follows the Thorns, a seemingly perfect couple with a prestigious lifestyle. Robert, a US Ambassador to Italy, and his wife Katherine have everything they desire, except for a child. Tragedy strikes when Katherine gives birth to a stillborn baby. A priest at the hospital suggests that Robert adopt a healthy newborn whose mother has just passed away. Without informing Katherine, Robert agrees. After moving to London, peculiar occurrences and ominous warnings from a priest make Robert suspect that the child he brought home from the Italian hospital is the embodiment of evil.
