What a Whopper (1961) follows the adventures of a creative writer who devises a plan to secure some quick funds by penning a book about the elusive Loch Ness Monster. However, publishers are skeptical, dismissing the idea due to the lack of concrete evidence supporting the monster's existence. Undeterred, the writer, along with a group of friends, crafts a convincing fake monster and captures photographs of it. Their next move is to journey to Scotland, where they aim to persuade the locals and perhaps even the world about the authenticity of their discovery.
