Four Men and a Prayer (1938) follows the story of Colonel Loring Leigh, a distinguished officer in the British Indian Army, who is accused of issuing a fatal order that resulted in the loss of 90 lives. Dishonorably discharged, he returns to his family, revealing a sinister plot involving an arms syndicate that supplied weapons to the rebels. Tragically, he is found dead shortly after, with his demise ruled as a suicide. To vindicate their father's name, his four sons embark on a perilous global quest to uncover the truth, all while being closely pursued by Geoffrey's beloved, Lynn Cherrington.
