Dreams on Fire (2021) follows Yume, a young woman who escapes to Tokyo with aspirations of achieving her dream of becoming a professional dancer. However, she soon encounters the challenging truth that success is not easily attained. While working as a hostess in Tokyo's vibrant but notorious red-light district, Yume dedicates herself to mastering the art of dance and immersing herself in the city's thriving underground dance scene.
