Kuroi gashû: Aru sarariman no shôgen (1960) follows the life of Ishino, a procurement manager at a reputable company, who enjoys a seemingly perfect existence. He is a devoted husband to his loving wife and a caring father to their two children. However, his life takes a dark turn when his secret affair with a mistress becomes entangled in a murder investigation. The mistress's involvement as a key alibi for the murder suspect threatens to unravel Ishino's carefully constructed life, putting his family, career, and freedom at risk.
