The Reckoning (1969) follows Michael Marler, a prosperous entrepreneur based in London, as he is on the brink of achieving unprecedented success. The sudden demise of his father compels him to return to his birthplace, Liverpool, after nearly four decades. Upon his arrival, he is forced to confront his forgotten Irish heritage.
