Houston (2012) follows Clemens Trunschka, a German corporate headhunter grappling with alcohol addiction. His excessive drinking progressively alienates him from his personal life and distorts his perception of reality. When a chance to assist a German firm in recruiting an American CEO in Houston emerges, Trunschka sees it as a lifeline to restore his financial stability and mend his family relationships. However, this opportunity propels him into a downward spiral, plunging him into the depths of despair.
