The Wind Rises (2013) follows the life of Jiro, a young man with a profound passion for aviation and a particular admiration for the renowned Italian aeronautical designer Caproni. In 1927, he secures a position at a prominent Japanese engineering firm and quickly rises to prominence as one of the world's leading airplane designers.
