Toilet: A Love Story (2017) follows the journey of Keshav and Jaya, who hail from villages where a significant majority of homes lack basic sanitation facilities. Their marital bliss is short-lived as Jaya abruptly departs from Keshav's residence on their very first day of marriage, shocked to find no toilet in the house. Devastated and determined, Keshav embarks on a quest to regain Jaya's affection by challenging the entrenched customs, attitudes, and societal norms of his nation.
