Boachi Bushido: Code of the Forgotten Eight (1973)

Boachi Bushido: Code of the Forgotten Eight (1973) is a gritty period drama that follows the journey of a disillusioned ronin, portrayed by Tetsuro Tanba. The ronin confronts the notorious "Clan of the Forgotten Eight," a group that has lost all sense of basic human emotions such as conscience, gratitude, and loyalty. Armed with his formidable sword, Onibouchou, which translates to "Ogre's Kitchen Knife," Tanba's character brutally slices through the clan's ranks, resulting in a gory spectacle of severed limbs and flowing blood. Along his path, he encounters numerous women, whom he forcefully takes advantage of, adding to the film's raw and unapologetic nature.
