El hogar que yo robé (TV Series) (1981) follows the life of Andrea Velarde, a young married woman who finds herself in a complex web of deceit and self-discovery. While on a trip with Eduardo, a young gigolo and womanizer, Andrea's life takes an unexpected turn. During a visit to a casino, Andrea retouches her makeup in the restroom, feeling unwell after a meal. Suddenly, she sees a reflection in the mirror that is not her own, but that of another woman named Victoria. Victoria, a humble woman responsible for the vanity, is equally astonished by the striking resemblance between herself and the wealthy and sophisticated Andrea. This encounter sets the stage for a series of events that will challenge Andrea's perceptions of identity, morality, and the true meaning of home.
