Raging Bull (1980) chronicles the tumultuous life of Jake La Motta, a middleweight boxer portrayed by Robert De Niro. As La Motta ascends through the boxing ranks, vying for the middleweight championship, he becomes enamored with Vickie (Cathy Moriarty), a stunning woman from his Bronx neighborhood. Jake's struggle to articulate his emotions manifests in his aggressive boxing style and ultimately consumes his personal life, particularly his relationship with his brother, Joey (Joe Pesci). Driven by irrational jealousy towards Vickie and an unquenchable desire for success, Jake's life spirals out of control, leading to the loss of his title, his wife, and his bond with Joey.
