Hercules (1997) follows the journey of the demigod Hercules, born to the mighty Zeus and the mortal Alcmene. Tricked by the cunning Hades, the ruler of the Underworld, Hercules is stripped of his immortality and cast down to Earth as a mortal. Raised by a loving couple, Hercules grows up with extraordinary strength but no memory of his divine lineage. When he learns of his true heritage, Zeus reveals that to regain his immortality and return to Mount Olympus, Hercules must prove himself as a True Hero. With the aid of his loyal winged steed Pegasus and the guidance of his mentor Phil, a satyr, Hercules embarks on a series of heroic adventures, battling mythical creatures and facing the wrath of Hades and the Titans. Ultimately, it is his selfless act of love for Meg, his beloved, that truly defines his heroism and secures his place among the gods.
