Strange Way of Life (2023) follows a mysterious journey as a man ventures across the desert to reach Bitter Creek. His destination is the Sheriff Jake's office. Two and a half decades prior, Sheriff Jake and Silva, a rancher, had collaborated as hired guns. Silva's visit is ostensibly to reconnect with his old friend, and they initially celebrate their reunion. However, the next morning, Sheriff Jake reveals that Silva's true purpose for the visit is far more complex than a simple reminiscence of their past friendship.
