The Ignorance of Blood (2014) follows Javier Falcón, the head of the Homicide Division in Seville, as he races against time to unravel two distinct and pressing cases. In one scenario, Falcón finds himself deeply entangled when an old acquaintance, who had infiltrated an Islamic terrorist group, sees his own son targeted for recruitment by the extremists. Concurrently, Falcón is tasked with solving the abduction of a child by the Russian mafia, where the ransom demand is exorbitantly high, complicating his efforts to secure the child's safe return.
