Strange Voyage (1964) follows the lives of Paquita and her brother Venancio, two unmarried siblings residing in a quaint town near Madrid. Their lives are controlled by their domineering elder sister, Ignacia, who is also unmarried. One evening, Paquita overhears Ignacia discussing plans to sell off all the family's assets. Ignacia intends to embark on a journey to Paris with an enigmatic individual, leaving her siblings behind. Frightened by this revelation, Paquita and Venancio stand up to their sister's tyranny, leading to a tragic and unintended outcome.
